A recording of an old spanish priest teaching a group of 25 kids about birds, in an large birdhouse. Recorded on a standard sony stereo microphone and encoded in 192 vbr mp3. More for the content than the quality of sound.

One lonesome bird that lives in a tree on the neighbour's court. I recorded the tweets early in the morning from my balcony testing a røde videomc pro. There was some far away plane noise that i've filtered down quite heavily, so that now the bird sounds kind of 'isolated' and maybe somehow synthetic. Additionaly i passed an eq and a compressor (in audacity).

Christmas day 2007 in ramsgate harbour. The weather was cold and misty with a bit of wind. The result is an eerie sound as the wind rattles the rigging of the yachts, enhanced by a couple of birds flying across the harbour making mournful squawks.

The soundscape includes sounds of various birds, the wind, constant traffic in the background, industrial clanking noises and some people talking in the distance. Recorded with a zoom h1.
